Hello! Here at Top10 we are looking for a talented designer to join our team and help us define how our product develops. Working in a close team with a design Co-Founder and just one other designer you will have a lot of input into the features we develop and decisions we make about our products.

You will then be responsible for designing those products and features, touching on everything from the design of navigation to the copy on buttons. Finally you will see your designs through to launch, working closely with the engineering teams to test and refine your designs.

While this role is very much about how Top10 looks it equally concerns how Top10 functions and the experience a user has when they use our product. We care intensely about the quality of this experience, and you need to as well.

About you

We are looking for a highly-motivated and creative person who thinks smartly and then executes their ideas with precision and flair. You will have:

• A degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design or a related subject plus several year’s experience working as a designer in a commercial environment.
• A belief in ‘less is more’, demonstrated through the ability to turn complicated problems into simple, straightforward and enjoyable products.
• Exceptional design abilities including strong layout and typography skills and a deep understanding of when and how to use colour, photography and illustration.
• An understanding that design is much more than an aesthetic veneer, demonstrated through a portfolio of products that solve real problems and add value beyond looking good.
• Attention to detail that borders on OCD.
• A true passion for design and an ambition to build products which people love.

The following qualities are also desirable but not essential:

• Experience developing products with a strong social focus.
• Experience creating products designed to work on mobile devices.
• Front- or back-end development skills.
