Front End Web Developer 
at Simply Business in Tech City / Silicon Roundabout
----The Role----
You will be a Web Developer with strong HTML, CSS and AJAX skills. You will be driven and focused and willing to put in what it takes to get results. With the ability to work to tight deadlines, you will have worked in Agile/XP environment and have knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to integrate into an excellent working and social environment within a highly focused and professional company.
Coding fully compliant CSS-based websites for the main Xbridge e-commerce sites
Working closely with members of the Agile Java & Ruby development team to build / modify parts of the dynamic web application, and to rework the application to be compliant with HTML / CSS standards
Reporting to Programme Manager
----Essential Skills and Experience---
(X)HTML
Strong CSS
Strong AJAX skills a must
Experience of a language used for building dynamic web pages, preferably Ruby on Rails
---Desirable Technical Skills---
Flash (ActionScript)
Photoshop
XML/XSLT
Syndication (RSS/Atom)
AJAX
SASS
CoffeeScript
Haml
UX experience
Back End Database
Desirable Experience
Used to working in an Agile Development team

Experience working directly with Customers/Business Owners
Experience supporting live web applications
Working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
