Yelp, the online city guide that connects people with great local businesses, is looking to hire account executives to join its fast growing sales team in London in early February 2013.
Account Executives sell online local advertising space to business owners in London and throughout the UK. If you’re a brave leader who’s passionate about local businesses, online advertising, and looking for a uniquely rewarding inside-sales development programme, then we’re the place for you. Our ‘Account Executives’ work hard and play hard!
As part of our team you’ll:
Make a high volume (80+) of outbound sales calls to a variety of local business owners daily
Manage your own leads and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
Educate your clients on the power of online advertising with Yelp, and the impact we’re having on their business already
Make your local business clients more successful with the most effective online advertising programme available

Think you have what it takes? Well, here’s what we’re looking for in promising applicants:
Minimum of 1-3 years experience in sales (will consider recent grads with transferable skills)
An entrepreneurial spirit, our account executives are hard-working, self-motivated & confident, you should be too.
A passion for sales, social networking, local search, online advertising and helping local businesses succeed online.
A quick learner, we’ve crafted a 2-year crash training course in sales and online advertising.
Exceptional phone skills and professionalism
Strong work ethic
Great attitude & passion for what we’re doing as a company
Strong preference for candidates who have work authorisation.
