We are looking for a talented PHP developer to join a fast-moving charity making a difference to the professional prospects for hundreds of young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds across the UK.
You will be designing and developing web applications to support the organisation, the students that we work with, as well as our partners. We have built a host of internal technology, and have some exciting projects coming up. You will be responsible for the technology strategy of upReach, our range of web apps and the entire development cycle for them, including gathering and prioritising user requirements, development (front and back), testing, deployment and maintenance.
You will predominately be the sole developer so we are looking someone who loves responsibility. You may also work with interns and any pro bono development support. You will be a senior member of the team and ideally you will also be keen to get involved with other aspects of the charity such as organisational strategy.
We are happy to consider either full time applicants or one or two part time positions instead.
Please apply by sending your CV and a cover letter (no more than 500 words) to email@example.com. Also, feel free to get in contact if you have any questions or want further information. Applicants will be invited to interview as soon as possible so early applications encouraged.
