Back-End Developer

You will be working for Tuneit as Back-End Developer

Who we are:

We are an exciting startup building the music player for the next generation. Following a successful seed funding round we have moved to Tech Hub in Old St and are recruiting a crack team of excellent people, who are passionate, talented and keen to create something fantastic.
After launching a simple but powerful prototype (tuneit.com) we have amassed good traction: thousands of Twitter and Facebook followers and invite requests.
We’re now entering the next phase which is the rapid development of an excellent music player on all devices, including iOS, Android & web.

What we’re looking for:
A talented back-end developer to join our team and help us build something fantastic. We need someone is who is thorough, methodical and passionate about what they do.
Experience designing and building back-end solutions using Ruby on Rails, Heroku, MongoDB, ideally including developing for mobile.
Practical understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
Experience with test driven development
Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions.
Experience using JS Frameworks/Libraries (jQuery, Bootstrap.js, Backbone.js, Underscore.js).
Passion for good design and usability on the web.
Ability to lead and mentor other programmers, and contribute to improved process and workflow.
A n outstanding CV including an impressive portfolio of previous clients.
Ability to interface on a technical level with both engineers and business level management personnel.
Previous experience of working at a Start-Up not essential, but a realistic understanding of how Start-Ups function is very necessary.
