We’re looking for a developer to join our team at Trak.io.
We’re VC (seed) funded and have some awesome traction already, despite been in closed Beta.
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (DoE)
Our mission (and hopefully soon, your mission):
Allow startups to iterate towards product-market fit faster and more intelligently. Then allow them to achieve scale faster and more efficiently
Out the door, you’ll be jumping straight into our Trello board alongside the CTO writing Rails. However, we aren’t interested in one trick ponies, and we’d love to find people as passionate about learning the “right tool for the job” as we are.
Working in an innovative analytics startup, you’ll immediately get to play with problems at scale, which makes everything just a little bit more interesting.
Balance that with the need to follow an extremely strict agile policy of “innovating 1% at a time” and you’re pretty much the girl or guy we’re looking for.
We don’t have a funky office in London yet (boo!) and currently work dotted around coworking spaces or coffee shops. You should plan to be moving to work from our central London office in around 6 months though.
We love remote working (https://medium.com/design-startups/73f22ed2d80a) but we also realise that we want to set a solid foundation of culture before we spread people too far.
We’ll pay you enough to live and not feel sad about your bank balance, but we’ll be relying on our equity offer to give you a sense of purpose.
As a fully transparant company and team you’ll know right at the application stage exactly what our last investment round was, what our next one will be, and therefore what your options are actually worth.
You’ll need to be disciplined and a self starter, as working alongside the CTO, CEO and a dev ops lead, there’s no time for micromanaging anyone.
First 3 months will be a contract, to make sure everyone is a cultural fit, during which time you’ll be compensated with cold hard cash.
Following that and all successful, you’ll be offered a full time contract, equity options, and your full benefits:
• unlimited vacation – really
• gym membership
• home cleaner
• home laundry
• personal development budget (books, training etc.)
• team work retreats
• Share options – and clear transparency of their value
Send an email to the CEO, Liam Gooding, on firstname.lastname@example.org with information about:
• Introduce yourself
• Expected salary (contract)
• Expected salary (full time)
• Any relevant projects you were proud of
• Startup experience
• Informal references (ideally peers, not managers)
• Something interestingFor the something interesting part… well that’s totally upto you!
