Highly creative fast-learner required for the actual answer to the music industry - an answer that's bigger, yet a lot simpler, than that claim... gifted CTO/co-founder permitting.
We are looking for a motivated digital polymath. Either one who realises much with a narrow range of well chosen programming tools, or who combines a vast array to focussed effectiveness. (Or something persuasive in between).
Someone who remembers from Napster that (a) music is why it flew and (b) the democratisation of creativity, musical and otherwise, is not only real but disruptively powerful; who realises that technology - whilst enabling the (admittedly quite helpful) internet - has not yet caught up with the technical demands required by artists within complementary artforms to create enhanced content together. Someone who agrees that to provide this exchange as an effortless, immediate and ego-less online interface for artists would be a worthwhile way to spend one's days and occasional nights.
The catch? A desire for the genuine achievement of this goal to lead to outcomes beyond money.
