Outcomes Based Healthcare is seeking a Technical Project/Product Manager to join our team to ensure the end-to-end delivery of two Innovate UK funded digital health projects.

The Project Manager will be a critical part of OBH’s team with the primary mission to ensure project success of two digital health projects. You will leverage your strong communication and relationship building skills to map, build and maintain stakeholder relationships, as well as organise and execute project plans.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about building technology that utilises real population health insights. You'll be working within a highly skilled team with a broad range of diverse skills and with many having backgrounds in at least two areas of: clinical medicine, advisory/business development, economics and computer science.

OBH are working on a number of health outcomes-focused projects, where there will be opportunity to be involved in product development, however the two primary projects for this role are:

1. An Innovate UK funded R&D project to predict the complications of diabetes using big data (from both health data and non-health data), advanced analytics and machine learning approaches. 2. An Innovate UK funded R&D project to design and develop a prototype smartphone app that predicts patient-reported outcomes through passively collected mobile sensor data and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

  • · Working closely with OBH and software and data partners to manage the day-to-day work of the research and development teams
  • · Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the implementation of two digital health projects
  • · Ensuring agile/iterative approach is understood and followed by the team
  • · Tracking and reporting progress for team meetings and funding partners, through professional and detailed documents and presentations
  • · Preparing for and running team meetings
  • · Ensuring that adequate and qualified staffing is assigned for each of the major project areas
  • · Establishing and executing the project plans including resource planning and task dependencies
  • · Ensuring that the project delivers the desired results - within time and budget - as specified in the project plan.
  • · Maintaining the project schedule and tracking cost, as specified in the project plan.
  • · Responsibility for on-time, on-budget successful delivery of projects
  • · Identify and manage risk for each project
  • · Drive business and functional level discussions relating to the products
  • · Establish trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and executives

The successful candidate should:

  • · Have experience in managing a variety of software, technology, big data and machine learning projects
  • · Be a self-starter, with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • · Be highly organised, with good organisational and time management skills
  • · Be detail oriented, with experience working with visualisations
  • · Be able to learn rapidly and adapt to a changing and innovative technical environment
  • · Be able to work under pressure and identify priority tasks
  • · Be able to communicate the concepts of user experience, user interface and technology clearly
  • · Have the ability to conduct and facilitate meetings with a range of stakeholders
  • · Be experienced in working with other team leaders within the team as well as colleagues/teams in other locations, able to effectively build relationships at all levels
