Business Development Manager

You will be working for Knexus EMEA as Business Development Manager

  • Engage prospective clients, identify requirements, develop proposals & secure new subscribers to Knexus Platform
  • Ensure successful on-boarding (first 3 months) of new clients
  • Provide ongoing, rigorous & pro-active account management to ensure Knexus meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Achieve up-sell and cross-sell targets
  • Capture client feedback & ensure this is integrated with Knexus’ product roadmap
  • Drive a pro-active retention program to create multi-year relationships with clients
  • Work closely with the Client Experience team (responsible for product development & Knexus Platform delivery)
  • Work closely with marketing to define and execute effective client communications
  • Actively participate in sales planning
  • Focus on new sales growth & ensuring existing clients are happy
  • Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with enterprise clients

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 years (max. 10 years) new sales or account management experience
  • Experience selling SaaS (preferably) or other tech products/services
  • Proven track record working with international/global brands
  • Experience selling into digital marketing & communications teams
  • Demonstrable success creating long term relationships with existing clients, including significant revenue growth
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and inter-personal skills to interact with clients
  • Ability to work independently in high pressure, fast growth environment
  • Technology savvy
  • Highly tenacious, driven & ambitious
  • A minimum 2:1 degree
