Explovia is a London start-up on an ambitious mission to spark conversations about London’s events.
We have launched with an iOS and Android app with content managed via a desktop back-end. We currently target London, with the clear ambition to expand across other major cities.

We are a friendly and experienced team who have previously worked in management roles at Virgin, News International, Group Commerce, Goldman Sachs and Rocket Internet amongst others.
Explovia is seeking an entrepreneurial, experienced copywriter, with the ability to effectively describe our events and content in a concise and compelling way to engage and delight our users. In addition to copywriting events for publication on the mobile app, you’ll also be responsible for copywriting the weekly newsletter and contributing to the marketing material.
This role will report to the Creative Director. You will help to define and evolve the company’s tone of voice and be an instrumental member of the operations team. You’ll have a serious impact as an early member of the team as we grow our user base and launch new products.
You will know and love London – the best spots, the most exciting places, what’s happening tonight and what’s around the corner. This is a job for someone passionate about all that this great city has to offer, and who wants to excite others.
We want you to be quietly ambitious, hacky (= get it done), and a tiny bit (but not too much!) of a perfectionist. We recruit based on skills and talent and look for a bit of a spark.
