6 -12 months
The EF cohort is made up of the top technical talent from across Europe. Our talent bar for the programme is extremely high (we don’t settle for just ‘good’), and the same is true for the EF team. We only hire the smartest, most ambitious individuals to join us.
What is an EF Fellowship?
Working for EF is unlike any other job opportunity. We believe that in order to attract the most ambitious team members we need to have a fast and fluid development path for each individual. We acknowledge that the best people can and want to grow quickly into larger roles which make an impact, and at the same time deepen their knowledge and expertise doing something that matters. An EF Fellowship is a 6 - 12 month role designed to give you these experiences working as part of our team across our internal functions.
How does it work?
The Fellowship is designed to allow you to learn and develop at an incredible speed within our very small team. You’ll be in at the deep-end and will have a tonne of responsibility from Day 1 and will gain exposure to all of our functions, including Talent and Programme. Every Fellow will build out a crucial part of EF through a series of projects, helping us to scale in line with EF’s plans for the future - this can range from helping us find the best technical talent in Europe or working with our cohort to build the most exciting companies.
Sometimes though, the work won’t be glamorous - there will be times when we all have to mop up beer stains after a hackathon, do a last minute dash to get ice and buckets, and negotiate with dozens of suppliers to get us the best deal. What we can guarantee however, is that no two days will be the same and every menial task is a crucial puzzle piece in EF’s success.
Over the course of the Fellowship you will deepen your knowledge of early-stage tech startups, working side-by-side with EF’s founders, the wider team, and the current cohort. The end goal of the Fellowship is to develop you to a stage where you can either build your own company or find an exciting role in another startup. We will help and support you with making this next big career step using our network and talent expertise.
Why become an EF Fellow?
The learning curve is huge; every part of the Fellowship is designed to help you learn as fast as possible through taking on lots of responsibility.
You’ll be an autonomous leader from Day 1; we have a super flat structure; there’s almost no hierarchy and zero micro-management.
You’ll help to build out critical parts of the business; we have big plans and we need high-performance ambitious individuals to help us get there.
Training, mentoring, and feedback from the start; your development along your chosen track is all that matters to us. We’ll help you draw out what this looks like from the start and adapt if needs be along the way.
We’ll help you to build your own startup or find an opportunity at the end of your Fellowship which utilises the deep, specialised knowledge you have gained during your time with us.
We have a very large, credible network who we’d be willing to introduce you to (including some of Europe’s top startup founders, investors, and officials).
Who are we looking for?
We look for only the most ambitious graduates to join us. You should have an outstanding academic track record and an armour of impressive achievements. An interest in technology and startups is essential. Our team culture is very ‘hands-on’ - we are looking for people who just get things done and actively seek ownership. Technical skills are a huge advantage.
If you are interested in the EF Fellowship please send a CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org, telling us why you’re the best person for the role.
