AutoChaseIt is hiring

Software Engineer / CTO / Technical Co-Founder (we're flexible)

You will be working for AutoChaseIt as Software Engineer / CTO / Technical Co-Founder (we're flexible)

We are an extremely ambitious fintech startup, based in central London. We want to do for the critical business process of invoice collection what Amazon have done for computing capacity with AWS. And make it an elastic rentable utility rather than a fixed cost.

There is a huge market opportunity here that we are extremely excited about pursuing. We are looking for our first Software Engineer / CTO / Technical Co-Founder (as a startup at the very start we have the luxury of being flexible!) to join us in bringing this vision to life.

We have £50k of seed funding, so are not just another startup looking for a developer to take a bet on them in exchange only for equity. You will be able to get a salary alongside a material equity stake in the company.

At the outset, you will take the technical lead in developing our core invoice collection automation web application. This will comprise integrating with third party accounting software (our first integration will be with the Xero accounting system), writing our back end architecture to store and manipulate user data, and developing an email automation system.

This role is available for immediate start.

- Can develop cloud-based web applications in one, but the more the merrier, of Ruby, Python, PHP, Node.js and Java;
- Is comfortable with HTML5, CSS and Javascript;
- Has experience in developing automated processing systems;
- Is familiar with version control systems;
- Has knowledge of relational and non-relational database architectures;
- Is experienced in administering server environments.

- Approaches problems pragmatically, based upon a deep theoretical understanding of the underlying Computer Science concepts;
- Has experience working in an agile environment.

We are an enterprise fintech SaaS start-up with a vision to completely re-imagine the way in which businesses go about invoice collection. We are focused on building brilliant technology to tackle this much maligned, and frequently poorly executed, business process.

The first plank of our product roadmap is the building of a cloud-based web application to automate the process of chasing sales invoices for payment. No longer will accountants have to timidly craft and send those “strongly worded” payment chasers – our platform will learn what invoices are due and when, before automatically sending chasers at the required intervals.

Subsequent planks of our product roadmap include: mobile / tablet applications; and call center telephone chasing underpinned by super-smart technology to maximise call volume efficiency.

Our work environment is very fast paced and interesting. We are building a team of ambitious, talented and driven people, who get shit done. We are dedicated to creating a company of great people and providing them with the freedom and empowerment to flourish, alongside accountability for delivering results.

Our vision is to be the best in the world at helping businesses avoid bad debts and get paid for what they’ve earned. To achieve this we’re building sensational, easy-to-use and robust product that our customers love. If this sounds as exciting to you as it does to us, we’d love to hear from you at jobs@autochase.it.

People who are not passionate about the continual pursuit of this vision need not apply.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS (on top of salary and equity to be determined based on skills and salary requirements of the successful candidate):

Up to £2k to customise your own tech setup;
Free breakfasts and free lunch on Friday.

If you’ve read this and are about to email us, please know that there is a 0% chance that you’re not completely wasting your time. But you will also be wasting our time, so please kindly fuck off.
