AltaPay are looking for an ambitious and driven individual, with an interest in forging a career in the payments industry/ecommerce. Through hands on training and work experience, both market information and sales approach will be nurtured; with the expectation that this progresses into a fully-fledged enterprise sales role, targeting tier 1 e-tailers in the UK and internationally.

Initially reporting directly to the VP Sales & Marketing you will perform varied duties; supporting the wider sales team, assisting with the creation of sales collateral, market scoping and lead generation internationally.

The Role:

  • To work in a closely knit growth focused organisation, with an exceptional product
  • Assist with the development of a “go to market” strategy for an identified retail vertical
  • Proactively research, qualify and generate leads with enterprise level merchants and partners internationally
  • Creation of sales collateral, pitches and presentations to support the business
  • Work closely with the sales team to advance opportunities and get merchants processing
  • Understand our value proposition, and how this best fits with merchant/partner requirements
  • Represent AltaPay at industry events, fairs and conferences
  • Domestic and/or international travel will be required where necessary

Your Qualities:

  • An excellent communicator, ideally with international experience/background
  • Strong work ethic, with a determination to learn and succeed
  • An interest in selling complex SaaS solutions to tier 1 e-tailers in the UK and internationally
  • A general interest and understanding of business news/current affairs

· The highest level of presentation and documentation skills; PowerPoint and Excel to advanced level essential

  • A strong analytical, planning and strategic approach with high attention to detail
  • Languages; Fluency in English is a must, and bonus points for professional proficiency in any other European language(s)

This is an opportunity to be trained into a full life cycle enterprise payments sales position, selling to a diverse range of ecommerce businesses across a variety of geographical markets.

Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience), annual bonus, 25 days holiday.
