Social Media & Content Manager

You will be working for 1DA as Social Media & Content Manager

1DA is looking for an awesome Social Media & Content Manager with a strong knowledge of social media channels and a good track record of producing and managing content on behalf of brands.

The Social Media & Content Manager will be responsible for the planning, production and management of content for some of our most exciting clients, working across sports, entertainment and Technology. They will report directly to the Managing Partner and will have access to the full 1DA team, from creative through to production.

Create, articulate, and execute a content vision across social media channels for our clients; developing the content independently, with the in house creative team or using external suppliers.

Manage day-to-day reactive and proactive communications on all key social media channels.

Maintain a social media editorial calendar in order to proactively produce content appropriate for the channels

Produce reports analysing sentiment and trends in order to provide insight.

Gather insights from social communities that inform creative development.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
An exciting portfolio of past campaigns/content/creative projects, along with a proven track record in copywriting.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment

3+ years of relevant work experience at interactive, advertising, public relations, or marketing agencies and/or experience managing social channels for a brand preferably in the consumer internet space in sport, education, design, technology or lifestyle brands.

Expertise and passion for social media and community-building online, including in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, market trends, best practices, and tools of the trade.

Active profiles on multiple social media platforms.

Experience working in global teams and communicating across national boundaries.

Knowledge in SEO/SEM/online media, analytics, web technology, mobile campaigns, community and the concepts of creative and brand strategy.

Natural collaboration and bridge-building skills.
